Alrighty folks, wish me luck, I'm getting on a plane today bound for North Carolina, where I'll be through Christmas. Then, I get to come back and leave for Hawaii from the 28th- January 8th. Having future in-laws in the islands rocks!
I may check in and say hello over the holidays...
Phew- what a year. As years go, this was a big one for me. Some of it was chronicled right here:
In 2003…
And other stuff too. 2003- you've been good to me. Let's keep our fingers crossed for 04'.
Apparently Ted had a bunch of bad experiences with Todd R. Baker. So, he built a built a site to let the world know Todd R. Baker is a Liar.
It's probably a good thing Todd's not a lawyer.
Have you seen those Bud Light commericals that praise the invetors of things like Mr. Pro Wrestling Wardrobe Designer?
Anyway I dig em' and this site has about fifty of em. So funny.
A couple of goiod ones:
Mr. Silent Killer Gas Passer
Mr. Boombox Carrying Rollerskater
I had no idea there were so many...

I'm not sure where this is coming from, but I've noticed recently that I don't trust people who wear sunglasses at night- or indoors. There is something about this practice that makes me feel like they've got something to hide. Or, maybe it's only greasy people that do it, I dunno.
Part of it, I think, comes from having experienced it and finding that your vision is screwed up when you wear sunglasses indoors. You just can't see that well. Which makes me wonder- why anyone would do it?
The only reason I can think of (aside from a medical condition or bloodshot eyes) is to look very, very cool. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm one who enjoys looking cool too, but I don't give up perfectly good eyesight to do it. It's like listening to great music with cool looking ear plugs or something- it just doesn't make sense.
If you are one of these folks, please note that sunglasses are called sunglasses for a reason- they block the sun. Sure, they are a fashion accessory, but one that has a place- and that place is outdoors in sunshine.
You don't see people walking around the mall with open umbrellas do you? It's because open umbrellas have a place too- and that place is in the rain. Otherwise, they'd be wasting a whole arm holding up something that's useless indoors- just like sunglasses.
If you see one of these folks walking around, do me favor: tell them that it's much cooler to see clearly than it is to look cool wearing sunglasses indoors. Then, you might want to run away before they see who said it.
When Good Rock Goes Horribly Wrong
What else can I say, this is a list of 25 albums that should not have been made...

#5 Garth Brook's "The Life of Chris Gaines."
The party was a success and so was my effort to avoid a hangover. If anything, my feet are tired from standing the whole night. So fun to see everyone and entertain in the new house. Good for getting into the holiday spirit I suppose.
Tonight we're hosting a holiday/housewarming party with 50-60 of our closest friends. :) We've been preparing for a while now and it's all coming together. I've still gotta get the keg and other libations, but the bulk of the stuff is done. This place is Christmas to the gills- ornaments, garland, mistletoe and lights abound. I plan to take a bunch of pictures.
I'm already dreading tomorrow. I tend to get really bad hangovers so I usually keep the partying at a conservative level, but being the host has a way of helping me over do it a little- for better or for worse. This has even manifested itself in late night attempts at breakdancing. Wish me luck.
I'm already anxious- I can't wait to get the party going. If there is a characteristic that defines me- its wanting to get my friends together and I really dig nights like tonight.
Mark treated us to nice NFL game on Sunday (Seahawks vs. Browns) to round out the Thanksgiving holiday. I meant to bring my camera, but then I remembered I had one onmy phone. This is the only picure I shot...

It was my first Seahawks game in the new stadium- which is nothing spectacular in my opinion. I think SafeCo field spoiled folks in Seattle. I guess I should just be thankful that they won in the game we saw.
This is pretty incredible... It starts as a picture of the milky way from 10 million light years away and eventually zooms into the dna of a leaf on the FSU campus in Florida. Check it out.
